How to Solve The Chamber of Insight in Baldur’s Gate 3?
The Chamber of Insight is a challenging puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3 that tests your ability to read and analyze information.
To solve this puzzle, you must identify the “enemy of the city” among three ghostly figures: Suleto, Amaps, and Stedd.
When you enter the Chamber of Insight, you’ll find the three ghosts standing at the end of a corridor. You won’t be able to speak with them directly, but you can find clues in the books scattered around the room.
The catch is that these books are flying around, making them difficult to read. To interact with the books, you’ll need to enter turn-based mode and throw a heavy item, such as a spare book, at them.
This will pin them down, allowing you to pick them up and read their contents. However, be careful not to throw any weapons, as that could damage the books and prevent you from finding the necessary information.
The books you read will provide insights into the backgrounds and beliefs of the three ghosts. Through this, you’ll learn that Suleto was exiled from the city and became a cruel person, making him the “enemy of the city” that you need to defeat.
Once you’ve gathered the necessary information, return to the Balduran statue and attack Suleto with a spell or physical attack to complete the puzzle.
Completing this challenge will allow you to progress further into the Wyrmway and continue your journey in Baldur’s Gate 3.

What Happens If You Fail A Wyrmway Puzzle?
In Baldur’s Gate 3, failing a Wyrmway puzzle doesn’t prevent you from progressing. However, there are some consequences.
If you fail to complete a puzzle, the chamber you’re in will be overrun by undead enemies. These include Fallen Champions, Fallen Wizards, Fallen Rangers, and Fallen Fighters.
You’ll face these undead hordes in every chamber where you fail a puzzle, with an additional wave waiting in the central plaza. So, be prepared for a fight.
The good news is that even if you don’t solve the puzzles perfectly, you’ll still be able to reach the Dragon’s Sanctum, which is the final area of the Wyrmway.
Yet, there are some downsides to failing puzzles. You’ll miss out on bonus experience points you would have earned for solving them correctly. These extra XP points are valuable for developing your characters’ skills and abilities.
There’s also a hidden Journal of Past Adventurers No. 5 that you can only access by solving all the Wyrmway puzzles. Failing any puzzle means missing out on this interesting entry that may hold secrets about the Wyrmway’s history.
